HEHR , Karen Gae 1962 - 2009 It is with overwhelming sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, sister, aunt and niece on October 31, 2009. Karen is survived by her mother Valerie, her brothers Daron, Kenton (Shelby), Byron (Joan), her sister Heather, and her aunt Ethel as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Chelsea. She will also be missed by countless friends. Karen started her career with Rogers Cable in Calgary. She then moved to Lethbridge to anchor the 2 & 7 Television News. Karen returned to Calgary as a news producer for Global Television. Karen's family would like to thank Global Television and Viola Teuling for their outpouring of love and support during this time. Karen will be remembered for her kindness, generosity and quick wit but most of all for her absolute bravery during her battle with cancer. At Karen's request, no Service will be held.
