KURZ , Edward "Eddie" Carl June 24, 1924 October 29, 2009 Eddie Kurz long time resident of Calgary, formerly of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, October 29, 2009. Eddie was predeceased by his wife Helen in 2003. He leaves to mourn his three children: John (Marie), Danny (June), and Glenda; grandchildren: Blake, Dustan (Lori), Robin (David), Reece, Tyler, Danny Jr. (Naomi) and Scott; three great-grandchildren: Maya, James and Sadie; as well as his sister Winnie and brother Willice. The family wishes to thank the staff at Southwood Hospice for their loving care of our dad. A huge thank you also goes to Debbie and Wes who became Dad's very good friends and all the staff at "We Care". A Memorial Service will be celebrated at St. Gerard's Catholic Church, 8944 Elbow Drive S.W. on Friday, November 6, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. If friends so desire memorial tributes may be made directly to Intercare, 211 Heritage Drive S.E.
