WEIR , Frederick Raymond "Bud" October 28, 1932 - November 1, 2009 Bud passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2009 at the age of 77 years. He faced many health challenges with courage, persistence and an abiding humble faith. Born in Calgary to Frederick and Jean Weir on 28 October 1932, he is survived by his loving, supportive family: his wife Laurie, his children and their families, Greg and Heather, Katie and Adam Weir, Calgary; Mark, Sheryl Lynn, Brandon and Nathan Weir, Ontario; Valerie and Lawrence Barry of North Vancouver, B.C.; his sister Jean Snyder, sisters-in-law Arlene McCall, Lois Gregor, Calgary, and numerous nieces and nephews. Bud was involved in the Insurance industry in Calgary and Victoria, B.C. He was a member of both the Alberta and British Columbia Insurance Adjusters Associations and Blue Goose International. He was associated with the 18th Scout Troop for many years. He loved music, family camping trips, hunting and treasured his many faithful, encouraging friends. Our sincere appreciation to all those in the medical profession whose care and commitment have given us many years of enjoyment with Bud. We give thanks for you and will be eternally grateful to all, especially: Drs. Noel Hershfield, Ronald Hons, Ulrich Lauf, Calgary, Drs. Robert Raine and Rene Weir, Victoria, Dr. Clifford Chan Yen in Vancouver, the Home Parenteral Nutrition Clinic at Foothills Medical Centre, Calea, Calgary Home Care and the Beverly Care Centre in Calgary. A Service to Celebrate the Life of F.R.
