Rose Susan HAAG

BROST, Rose Susan February 18, 1912 - October 29, 2009 Our gracious mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother passed away at the University of Alberta Hospital, surrounded by her loved ones, at the age of 97. Left to cherish and honour her memory are her siblings, Sister Marcella Haag, Josephine Steffen and Alexander Haag; her children, Noella (Ted+) Rimmer, Mary Lorimer, Angela Cramer, Albert (Louise) Brost, Leo (Denise) Brost, Ida (Ray) Hamans, Diane (Bob) Croteau and Barb (Len) Landry; 17 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Rose was predeceased by her husband Joseph, as well as nine brothers and sisters. Mom lived her life with grace, dignity and a tenacious strength right until her last moments. Relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 between 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 10011 - 114 Street, Edmonton. To celebrate Rose's life a Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, November 5, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Basilica, 10044 - 113 Street, Edmonton with Reverend Victor Botari as celebrant.
