EBERTZ, John Valentine On October 30, 2009 John Valentine Ebertz of Edmonton, Alberta formerly of South Cooking Lake, passed away at the age of 85 years. John is survived by three sons and four daughters, Frank (Annette), John (Fay), Betty (Ralph), Veronica (Alex), Wendeline (Bev), Katie, Rose (Garry); seventeen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother Nick and one sister Rose (Jack) and also by numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Catharina (Kay), his parents Frank and Veronica Ebertz; four brothers, one sister and sons-in-law Dale Starling and Marvin Groeller. Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Hainstock's Funeral Home, 9810 - 34 Avenue, Edmonton.
