OBITUARY JOHN D'ERRICO October 21, 1922 - October 30, 2009 With profound sadness, we announce the passing of John D'Errico at eighty-seven years old, cherished husband of 64 years to Joan "Mina" D'Errico (nee Lapello), and beloved father of Dr. John D'Errico (Johanne), Ron D'Errico (Jeannine), Linda D'Errico (Michel), Robert D'Errico (Christiane), and Cynthia D'Errico (David). Also left to grieve is his brother, Tommy (Etiennette), and his sisters Bianca (Alfredo), Giulia (Bryan) and Rita (Jimmy). John leaves behind nine loving grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. In 1956, John, along with his wife, Joan, founded The Broadway Paving Co. Ltd./La cie de pavage Broadway Ltee, which continues to this day. His attention to outstanding service, quality and integrity will be missed by his many colleagues and friends, both here and in Florida. Our gratitude to the staff and doctors at Santa Cabrini Hospital for their caregiving. The family will receive condolences at Alfred Dallaire, 12415 Sherbrooke East in Pointe-aux-Trembles on Thursday, November 5 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. and on Friday, November 6 from 9:30 a.m. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 6 at Eglise Saint Marcel, 1630 St-Jean-Baptiste Boulevard at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
