McDONELL, Allan Joseph Passed away peacefully in Ottawa, Ontario in his 76th year on Oct. 31st, 2009. Raised in Glengarry. Son of the late Leonard and Alice (nee McNally). Beloved husband of Elizabeth (nee MacCrimmon) and father to Bruce (Carmen), Audrey (Norman Sharkey), and Heather. Cherished Grandfather to Rebecca, Jessica and Mackenzie. Survived by brothers Peter (Shirley) and John (late Shirley) and sisters Mary (late Thomas Grady), Beth (Stewart Manley), as well many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 4th at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre, (2500 Baseline Road Ottawa) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Elizabeth Roman Catholic Church, 1303 Leaside Avenue Ottawa, Ontario on Thursday, November 5, 2009 at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends at the Parish hall to celebrate Allan's life.
