SLONIMSKI, Agnes Born Agnieska Mazurek on September 21, 1922 in Poland and died October 30, 2009 in Ottawa. Agnes passed away after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her husband Jan (1982). Proud mother of Mary (Michael), Jean, Ann, and John (Karen). She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Scott, Jennifer, Jessica, Savannah and Sierra and one great granddaughter, Arianna. The family would like to thank the staff of the Barrhaven Mall Medical Centre and the Palliative Care Unit of the Elisabeth Bruyere Health Centre for all their help and support. In remembrance of Agnes, donations can be made to the Palliative care Outreach Program (613-723-1184 or www.palliativeoutreach.org ).
