GRESCHUK, Dennis Dennis Greschuk, age 65, passed away quietly in his sleep on October 31, 2009 in the Royal Alexandra Hospital. Dennis was a kind and gentle man and was a friend to many who enjoyed his cheerful and positive outlook on life. Dennis was born July 28, 1944 in Edmonton, Alberta. Dennis graduated from St. Joseph High School. He retired from employment in the Justice Department of the Province of Alberta after 30 years of service in 1999. His work days involved frequent contacts with many people in the department who appreciated his ability to remember each individual by name and to have a humorous joke with every interaction that would always bring some laughter to their day. Dennis was very devoted to his family who he loved unconditionally. Survivors include Zonia Greschuk, his devoted mother who resides in Edmonton, Alberta and Corinne McPhee, his sister from Scottsdale, Arizona and her husband, Dr. Malcolm McPhee. Others that survive him are his two nieces, Charlene McPhee and Kelly McPhee, and his nephew, Dr. Neil McPhee (and wife Dr. Lucia McPhee). Dennis also had one great-niece, Angela McPhee. Preceding him in death was his father, the Honourable Justice Peter Greschuk of the Supreme Court of Alberta. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 6 at 11:30 a.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 - 111 Avenue, Edmonton with interment following in St. Michael's Cemetery.
