CHRISTIE, LOWELL Lowell Christie, beloved husband of Mary Christie of Grenfell and formerly of Summerberry passed away November 2, 2009 at the age of 74 years. Lowell was predeceased by his father, William (Bill) Christie and by his nephew, Mark Christie. Besides his wife, Lowell is survived by two sons: Wade (Gail) and Jason (Andy) both of Grenfell; grandchildren, Ory, Dakota and Hailey; his mother, Elizabeth Christie of Grenfell; brother, Jim (Verna) Christie of Grenfell; sister, Ann (Peter) Bot of Red Deer, AB; nieces, nephews and many friends. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Grenfell Community Hall. Interment will take place at 10:30 a.m. in the Summerberry Cemetery.
