David William BLEACKLEY

BLEACKLEY David William November 25, 1939 - November 1, 2009 Passed away peacefully at St. Pauls Hospital Sunday, November 1st, 2009. He leaves to mourn his beloved brother Tom (Kaye) Bleackley, niece Loreen Bleackley/Fallis and great-niece Kasey Lee Fallis. David was a high school teacher in the Richmond area till his retirement. His students were a very important part of his life during the school years and after. Many of his students kept in contact with him when they themselves entered their careers. He had many friends which he enjoyed visiting and always had a kind word for everyone. David enjoyed his church and the fellowship from it. In his younger years he travelled abroad especially England which he visited many times looking up his roots from the past and visiting his relatives there. David practised the art of giving back his knowledge to his many friends on many levels of society. He will be greatly missed by those who loved him. A service in David's honour will be held on November 7th, 2009 at 2pm Chown Memorial Chinese Church, 3519 Cambie St., Vancouver, BC. Flowers gratefully declined and donations to a charity of your choice or the kidney foundation or heart foundation would be appreciated.
