James David FLYNN

FLYNN James David 1938 - 2009 Dave, our much loved husband, father, grandpa and friend died suddenly October 30, 2009 In Royal Jubilee Hospital, Victoria. He will be remembered with loving hearts by his wife, Heather and sons Erik (wife Trudy) and Mark (wife Lorri) and his cherished grandchildren, Kurtis, Alexandra and Katrina. Also, his devout four legged companion, Couper. He graduated from UBC in 1962 and practiced as a mechanical engineer until retirement when he and Heather settled in Nanaimo to their little piece of island paradise. He especially enjoyed helping his family with various building projects and was happiest with a hammer and a plan. He also volunteered his time and underneath those bushy eyebrows had a good and generous heart. We invite you to join us Saturday, November 7 at 1:00 pm for a gathering of remembrance at First Memorial Funeral Chapel, 1720 Bowen Road, Nanaimo.
