BISSONNETTE, George Alexander After a courageous battle, passed peacefully Sunday, November 28, 2004 at the age of 48 in Kelowna, B.C. Greatly missed by his loving wife Glenda (nee Carrie); three daughters Emily (Stephen), Sarah and Anne; grandson Ga briel L'Heureux; parents George and Shirley Bissonnette of Kingston, ON; brother to Laurette Storch (Robert), Monique Rose (David), Shelley McLean (Greg), Carrie Bissonnette, Carla Andolfatto (Joseph), John Bissonnette (Louise); many aunts, uncles, c ousins, nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his many friends, fellow officers and hunting buddies. George served as an R.C.M.P. officer in B.C. for 24 years and 3 years in the correctional service in Kingston, ON. George was an avid hunter and f isherman, but his first love was being a husband, father and grandfather. Funeral Mass to be held Saturday, December 4 at 11 a.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Fuller Ave., Kelowna, B.C. An honour guard of his fellow R.C.M.P. officers will be in att endance. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
