VAN GILDER Asa Anson Born August 3, 1921 in Revelstoke, B.C. passed peacefully October 29, 2009 in Vernon, B.C. Predeceased by his loving wife, Millie, of 58 years; survived by his sons Onno (Gloria) Van Gilder and Ronald (Carole) Van Gilder; grand-daughters Janice (Patrick) Crowley, Michelle Van Gilder, Erica (Eric) Becker and Sheree (Rollie) Buccanan; grandson Ryan (Patty) Van Gilder; great-grandchildren Tyler, Aiden, Rachel, and Garth; also survived by loving friend and companion, Lohny and many friends and extended family; late sister Donna Jean and brother Searles. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at 2:30pm in the First Memorial Burkeview Chapel, 1340 Dominion Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B. C. V3B 8G7 (604-944-4128).
