LAJEUNESSE, Donna Lynn July 29, 1953 October 21, 2009 Sadly, we announce the loss of our dear Donna. After many years of battling liver disease and finally receiving a new liver, she faced and battled many complications. She passed away quietly at the West Coast General Hospital, with her loving daughter and sister by her side. Donna spent most of her adult life in either Victoria or Calgary both cities were home to her. While in Calgary she obtained a diploma in Business Administration and also became an LPN. She formed many close and lasting relationships in both places. Also in her career as a home support worker, she formed many bonds & attachments with her clients. Predeceased by her mother Hortense in 1976 and her father Robert in 2003, she leaves behind her beloved daughter Drew (Herman); her brothers and sister: Denis (Maxine), Gary (Mary Lou), Rita (Dave) and Andre (Helen); her nieces Jill and Kara and Tara and her nephew Mason. She also leaves many close friends and relatives who supported her to the end. Cremation has taken place. Yates Funeral Home. A Celebration of Donna's Life will take place at Hupacasath House of Gathering, 5500 Ahahswinis, Port Alberni, BC, (off Beaver Creek Road) on Sunday, November 8th at 2:00 pm. Donations to Happy Liver Society organization or to the BC Transplant Society graciously accepted.
