Carl Edwin CARTIER

CARTIER, Carl Edwin March 15, 1938 - October 25, 2009 Carl Cartier of Sechelt, BC passed away peacefully after a 3 months battle with cancer, with his family at his side. Carl is lovingly remembered by his two children: Dwayne (Marilyne) of Beaumont, AB and Penny (Fern Martin) of New Sarepta, AB; four grandchildren: Scott Martin, Chantal Martin, Mike Cartier and Riley Cartier.Carl is survived by his sister Velma (Bob Sauer) of BC; two brothers: Lloyd of Edmonton, AB and Jack (Ethel) of BC; also remembering Carl: nieces, nephews and many friends of Vancouver and Sechelt, BC. The family would like to thank the many friends and family that were supportive during their father's illness including Dr. Paras and the Leduc Hospital nursing staff on units 21 and 22 for their support and kindness during Carl's final journey. As per Carl's request no service will be held. A Celebration of Carl's Life will be held with family and close friends in attendance on November 22, 2009.
