BANSFIELD, Anne-Marie (nee Le Sann) Anne-Marie Bansfield, daughter of Euphrasie and Alain Le Sann, passed on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital. She was born in Yorkton, Saskatchewan on February 20, 1937, with family roots in Bretagne, and she grew up in Elie, Manitoba. She was a social worker, an avid gardner, and ran a bed and breakfast in Ottawa, Le Gite Park Avenue B&B. She loved to travel, cook and go for walks to enjoy nature, she appreciated art and she loved a good book. She also volunteered for various community works in her active commitment to help people in need and to bring about positive change. She will be remembered fondly by her many family and friends for her kindness, caring and vibrancy and how she brought us together and enriched our lives. Her grandchildren, Jelani, Tariq, Kanika and Anaya, her daughter-in-law, Melissa, her son, Anthony, and her husband Irving will miss her greatly and remember her with much love. So, too will her brothers Armand, Alain, Frank, and Yves, and her sisters Josephine, Aline, Euphrasie, and Marie, along with her nieces and nephews. We celebrate Anne-Marie's life and wish her many blessings in he passage. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 3000 Woodroffe Avenue, Barrhaven Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Saturday to St. Monica's Church for Mass of Christian Funeral at 10:30 a.m. "All that matters is that one is created anew."
