KERRIO, Helena "Lee" (nee Grosse) Peacefully at Eventide Home on Tuesday November 3, 2009 Helena completed her earthly journey and returned to her Lord. Dearly beloved wife of the late Michael Kerrio (March 3, 2001). Much cherished Mother of James V. "Jim" Kerrio of Ottawa and Carolyn Kerrio Wallace (late John) of Niagara Falls. Grandmother of Michael Wallace (fiance Melissa Adams) of Digby, Nova Scotia and Jaime Lister of Niagara Falls. Sadly missed by Gil Strader of Ottawa. Only sister of Thomas Grosse (late Doris) of Thorold and Joseph Grosse (late Ann) of St. Catharines. Predeceased by brother Benedict Grosse (late Ursula) of Thorold, infant brother Anthony and sister Palma Marie Grosse. Daughter of the late Egidio and Maria Grosse of Thorold. Dear Aunt Lee of Rosemary Grosse Hedden (Ray), Rosanne Grosse Mastracci (Gino), Pamela Grosse Murphy (Michael), Anna Marie Grosse Citrigno and nephew Anthony Grosse (Barbara). Predeceased by nephews Thomas Grosse Jr. (1962) and Vincent Kerrio Sr. (2009) (survived by wife Rose). Survived by nephews Vincent "Corky" Germano (Margaret), Donald Wale and niece Marilyn Genovese (Ralph). Our most grateful appreciation and thanks to ALL the staff at Eventide Home, place she called home since December 2002. Our dear Mother Helena touched everyone who knew her with her unwavering love, support, strength, selflessness and sweetness. She was most joyful when surrounded by her family. We love you Mother and will miss you dearly. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. visiting Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Scapular Church. The Rite of Committal will follow at Fairview Cemetery. The Vigil for Helena will be celebrated Friday at 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
