LEO FAHLMAN Leo Fahlman of Regina, SK passed away peacefully in his sleep at the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre on Tuesday, November 3, 2009. Leo was born April 1, 1912 in his family home at Kathrinthal (Kronau), Saskatchewan. Leo is survived by his wife, Clara of 75 years; daughter, Marie (Bob) Kowalchuk and grandsons, Rob and Steven. Leo farmed at Kronau and Richarson. He was an accomplished finishing carpenter and was proud that his workmanship is found in many homes across western Canada. Leo led an active life until his stroke in 1998. Leo loved to travel, he and Clara spent many winter travelling across the southern states. Leo was a gentle man who was eager to offer a helping hand to friends and family. He enjoyed a good laugh, singing and sharing his jokes. Leo was dedicated to his faith. He had a close friendship with many priests and nuns. Leo welcomed many to his home and cottage at Kenosee Lake. He loved spending time at his cottage entertaining. Leo will be remembered and loved by all who knew his kind way and loving heart. Special thank you to the doctors and staff of unit 3-5 at the Wascana Rehab Centre, for taking care of Leo. Funeral Mass will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, November 6, 2009 at Holy Child R.C. Parish, 2636 7th Avenue East, Regina, SK with Fr. John Weckend as Celebrant. In lieu of flowers donations in Leo's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice. Paragon Funeral Services entrusted with arrangements. 359-7776 Published in the Regina Leader-Post on 11/5/2009
