HOLE Jean Hunter (nee Robertson) Jean passed away unexpectedly on October 29, 2009 after a brief illness. Predeceased by her husband Ted (1977) and sister Margaret (2008), Jean will be sorely missed by son Martin (Debra), daughter Maureen; grandchildren Jason, Denise, Jennifer, Deen, Alia, Deanna and Robert; twelve great-grandchildren; her sisters Isabel and Joan; nieces and nephews; and many friends. Born November 26, 1921 in Moosejaw, Jean was raised in Vancouver and Powell River. After her retirement from Moscrop Secondary School, Jean devoted herself to community service, volunteering for many years at the Canadian Blood Services clinics and the SBUC thrift shop. Family was of the utmost importance to Jean. She will be remembered as a bright, gracious, non-judgemental lady who loved unconditionally and lived her faith day by day. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army or Canadian Blood Services. A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at 1:00 at South Burnaby United Church (corner of Gray and Rumble). Thanks to Dr. Reznek, Dr. Lam, the terrific staff at Burnaby Hospital MDU and Ward 3C. Published in the Vancouver Sun and/or The Province on 11/5/2009
