Steven Henry MARSHALL

MARSHALL , Steven Henry January 12, 1985 - October 30, 2009 On Friday, October 30, 2009 Sapper Steven Marshall was killed in combat at the age of 24 years. Steven will be lovingly remembered by his father Murray Marshall of Calgary; sisters Misty Lyttle of Stony Plain, Tosha Thomas of Vancouver, Darlene Thomas and Gavin Bankert of Calgary; uncle Ron Marshall of Calgary; aunt Lori Marshall of Calgary; cousins Dylan Marshall and Colin Anderson of Calgary; aunt Roberta Kline of Regina; uncle Terry Kline of Regina; aunt Crystal Kline of Moose Jaw; cousin Shyra Missens of Moose Jaw; uncle Robert Kline of Regina; nieces and nephews Monica, Dade, China, Adrian, Logan, Micha, Zoe, Alex, Natalie and Kassidy; special family Jerry, Anita, Evan, Cody and Kyle; and his extended military family both in Canada and Afghanistan. Steven was predeceased by his mother Karen Thomas; grandparents James and Jean Marshall, Jean Thomas and Robert Kline; and aunts Linda and Diane Thomas. Steven was born on January 12, 1985 in Calgary. He was raised in Calgary and was known for his gifted talents as a natural at many sports. In these sports he exhibited great sportsmanship and leadership skills which led him to his service in the military. He will be missed, however his place in his families hearts will live on forever. A Funeral Service will be held for Steven at Centre Street Church - Main Campus, 3900 - 2 Street N.E., Calgary, on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens.
