REVAK , Alexandra Mary May 31, 1945 - November 1, 2009 Alexandra, beloved wife of Bernard, passed away peacefully following a fifteen year battle with cancer at the Chinook Hospice on Sunday, November 1, 2009 at the age 64 years. Besides her husband, she will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Gail Gravelle; son, Grant (Jacquie) Revak; four grandchildren: Jordan, Jessica, Whitney and Hayley; as well as her sister, Brenda (Gerry) Paul and a brother, Barry (Jocelyn) Schmidt and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Alexandra was known for her curiosity of life and her perseverance to gain knowledge and understanding. She will be lovingly missed by all. Relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation at MOUNTAIN VIEW FUNERAL HOME on Monday, November 9, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Stefan Ganowicz officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Serenity, Mountain View Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the Canadian Cancer Society (200, 325 Manning Road N.E., Calgary, AB T2E 2P5).
