Florence Mildred LLOYD

SANDY , Florence Mildred (nee Lloyd) March 18, 1913 - November 4, 2009 Florence Sandy, formerly of Nanton, passed away in Calgary on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 after a courageous 96 year life. Florence was born March 18, 1913 in Parkland, AB to John (Wes) and Fluresetta Lloyd. Florence was predeceased by her husband Cleo in 1980 and by her brothers Alton and Clifford and her sisters Muriel, Marjorie and Mary. She is survived by her son Wayne (Ina); her grandchildren Dianna (Brian) Thornborough and Christopher (Rachelle) Sandy; great-grandchildren Elliot and Cooper. There are numerous nephews and nieces and their families who remember their aunt Florence. Florence lived her life in the Nanton/Parkland area where she developed many lifelong friends. A Memorial Service will be held at Nanton Baptist Church in Nanton, AB on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to Silver Willow Lodge, Nanton, AB.
