Sharon Katherine HABERSTOCK

Sharon Praski 1944 2009 Sharon Katherine Praski passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 4th, 2009 at the Sherbrooke Community Centre in Saskatoon at the age of 65. Sharon was born on March 14, 1944 at the Yorkton Union Hospital. She attended MacNutt School and later worked in Yorkton, before marrying Ted Praski in 1966. They lived in several locations throughout Saskatchewan and retired in Saskatoon. Sharon struggled with Alzheimer's disease for several years. She was predeceased by her parents, Adolf and Mary Haberstock; twin sister, Shirley, and her sister, Marlene Tkachuk. Sharon is lovingly remembered by her husband of 43 years, Ted Praski of Saskatoon; her four sons, Carman (Deanne) of St. Albert, AB, Jason (Sheri) of Saskatoon, Todd (Nancy) of Regina and Trent of Calgary, AB, and seven grandchildren. Sharon is also survived by her sister, Meone (Jim) Hawrychuk of Prince George, BC; brother, Lorne (Dianne) Haberstock of Prince Albert, SK and Lynn Haberstock (Charleen) of Saskatoon; as well as many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the caregivers at Sherbrooke Community Centre. The public viewing for Sharon will be held on Sunday, November 8th, 2009 at 7:30 9:00 p.m. and the Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 9th, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. celebrated by Pastor James Dimitroff. Both services will be held at Hillcrest Funeral Home (east on 8th Street, turn right before railway crossing), Saskatoon, SK. A private family interment of cremated remains will take place at Zorra Cemetery, MacNutt District at a later date. Memorial donations may be directed to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan (1405 Faulkner Crescent, Saskatoon, SK, S7L 3R5).
