BAKER Robert James (Jim) September 9, 1925 - November 3, 2009 It is with great sadness that Jim's family announces his peaceful passing at the age of 84. He leaves behind his children Pat (Wayne), Laurie (Ron), Jill, and Scott (Wendy) and his grandchildren Shawn, Jamie, Ian, Lisa, Barry Jr., Stephen, Daniel, step-grandchildren Sarah and Erin, great grandchildren Rebecca and Jack. Jim was predeceased by his loving wife Grace, son Robin and son-in-law Barry.Dad was born in Manitoba and moved with his then young family to Saskatchewan and Alberta before relocating to B.C. where he started his own successful medical supply business. He retired to enjoy life on his boat, golfing, curling, and participating in countless family events. Wonderful memories of celebrations together with family and friends will be held in our hearts forever. Dad's upbeat life perspective inspired everyone. Jim's family would like to thank the dedicated staff at Capilano Care Centre for taking excellent care of "President Jim". Please join the family in a celebration of Jim's life on Monday, November 9, 2009 at Boal Chapel, First Memorial Funeral Services in North Vancouver at 2:00pm.
