Etruria Alison WELLS

HAWS, Etruria Alison (nee Wells) On August 14, 2009 Alison was peacefully called home to her Heavenly Father at the age of 90. She is lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her husband Neville of Victoria, daughter Patricia, currently residing in Prague, Czech Republic, son Philip and family (wife Elizabeth and sons Andrew, Troy, Brendan and Marcus) of Victoria and son Calvin and family (wife Jill, son David and daughters Emily and Grace) of Sherwood Park, Alberta and also by her brother Joseph and sister-in-law Marilyn of Indiana, USA and sister-in law Jane, currently residing in Arizona. She was predeceased by her brother Richard in 2007. Alison will be remembered for her gentleness, humility and love. She especially loved children and enjoyed it when her grandchildren came to visit. She and her husband Neville supported 20 compassion (third world) children over many years. Alison was also a loving, understanding and loyal wife to her husband of 55 years. In Oak Bay Lodge, her friendliness and sensitivity towards others showed in that she befriended and helped those around her. We will miss her warm, infectious smile that she always had when we came for a visit. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Oak Bay Lodge for all their care and support given to Alison. Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 9, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at First Memorial (4725 Falaise Dr.). Flowers gratefully declined.
