BUENAVENTURA , Oscar We announce with sadness the passing of Oscar Buenaventura on Monday, November 2, 2009. He was dearly cared for by his sisters Ester and Norah, and nephew Alex. It was Oscar's wish that there be no formal Funeral Service, however a celebration of Oscar's life will be held at St. Luke's Catholic Church, 1566 Northmount Drive N.W., Calgary on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Oscar's memory to The Salvation Army Agape Hospice. Our heartfelt thanks to the staff of Agape Hospice and the nurses and caregivers from Palliative Services, without whose capable help, we could not have survived this loss. Thank you to all his co-teachers, colleagues, students at the Calgary Christian School; and friends who called, visited, and remembered Oscar with love and kindness during his time of illness.
