Dorothy Ann MULRONEY

OBITUARY DOROTHY ANN (MULRONEY) MARCHAND Aug. 14, 1920-Nov. 4, 2009 Dorothy passed away at home in North Vancouver after several months of decline. She loved to live a good life, always going somewhere, trying new things and especially liked spending time with her children and their families. She was born and lived in Montreal for her first sixty-eight years, then she moved to North Vancouver and found herself welcomed by the community - she enjoyed her new life in North Vancouver after the death of her husband Ludger Mederic Marchand. She is lovingly remembered by her children and their families: Michael (Susan Thorp) and granddaughter Miranda, Melanie (Roland Wahlgren) and granddaughter Tegan Wahlgren, and Patrick (Kelly Carr) and grandchildren Shawn, Christopher and Caitlin. Dorothy was blessed with great neighbours who looked out for her and friends who kept in touch these last few months when she could not get out as much as she would have liked. In lieu of flowers Dorothy would most approve of people making time to be with their friends and family and taking a moment to toast her - it is from these bonds between us that we all get our strength and become a community.
