OBITUARY GEORGES ANDRE RHYN 1915 - 2009 Died Monday, October 26, 2009 at his home in Dorval. Predeceased by his wife Noreen and his beloved son Jan. Survived by his daughter Susan. Born in Marnaz, France, Georges was educated at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts and at the Ecole des Arts Decoratifs in Paris. He came to Montreal on holiday, married and raised his family in the West Island. His career took him to Ottawa where he designed international exhibits for the Canadian Government. Upon retirement, he devoted himself entirely to his painting. Georges was a kind, gentle man known for his keen intellect and his enormous artistic talent. He was much loved and respected by his daughter Susan, his sister Suzanne, his many friends and his community of Dorval.
