TIERNEY, Mary Catherine (nee Mossington) Died peacefully, Thursday November 5, 2009 in her 85th year. Predeceased by her husband Charles in 1995. She is survived by her children Steven (Lorraine), Ann (Jim), Greg (Ann) and Mark, as well as her five grandchildren and a great grandson, who will miss her dearly. She was born and raised in Orillia, Ontario and raised her own family in Barrie, Ontario. She and her family moved to Ottawa in 1975. The family would to thank all of the wonderful people who provided her with love, comfort and support as she battled dementia, most notably her physician, Dr. Selwyn De Souza, to whom we are eternally grateful, Grace and the staff of the Empress Kanata, and the staff and volunteers at the Kanata senior citizens day program.
