COLBY Norris Allan 1919 - 2009 Allan passed away peacefully November 2nd in Gibsons, B.C. He will be missed by his wife of 66 years, Gwen, son Norris (Maya), daughters Teresa and Marion (Jerry), four grandchildren: Catherine, Patrick (Devon), Meris, Laura, sister Ethel (Jack) and brother Charles. He served in Europe with the Canadian Army during WW11, returned home and raised a family in Coquitlam. Allan was employed as a machinist, built houses, was a Boy Scout leader and dabbled in politics. He was an avid outdoors man. On retirement he and Gwen moved to the Sunshine Coast. Allan happily worked with his friends at the Sechelt Seniors Centre, contributing to security and maintenance. Many thanks to all his health care team on the Sunshine Coast, and in particular, the caring staffs at Green Court and Christenson Village. No service at his request.
