Anne Elizabeth MURRAY

WILLIAMS Anne Elizabeth (nee Murray) March 6, 1932 - October 30, 2009 Anne graduated from Burnaby South in 49. Her nursing career started with VGH training class of 53. She married Alan Williams in 54 and enjoyed many years of being a stay-at-home mom, delighting in the pleasure of her children. Returned to Nursing in 79, she thoroughly enjoyed that, too. After retirement, Anne's passion was golf, becoming past captains at Langara and Mylora. She also enjoyed travelling, from road trips to sailing in Greece and Turkey. Compassionate, reflective, determined, curious, considerate and laughing, Anne had a talent for friendship and was loved by many. She will be missed by husband, Alan, children Louise (Richard), Catherine (Sylvain), Carol and Dan, grandchildren Alphred, Felix, Adrien, Miguel, Eli and Adrian, brother Keith (Sylvia), and numerous loving relatives and close friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at Northview Golf Course November 13, 2009 2pm. In lieu of flowers, please give blood or donations to the Red Cross in her memory.
