Laurette Hermina MÉNARD

CALDWELL, Laurette Hermina (nee Menard) November 28, 1919 November 4, 2009 Passed away peacefully at Broadmead Lodge, Victoria, B.C. in her 90th year. Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba to Delphis and Ernestine Menard, predeceased by her devoted husband Newbury Arthur (Tim) and seven siblings. Lovingly remembered and missed by her three children, Brenda, Bob (Catherine) and Tom, two grandchildren, Michelle Scott Ehle, Laurel CaldwellMacIntyre and one great grandchild, Liam Ehle. Laurette had joie de vivre doing everything she did to the fullest whether nursing (a long and distinguished career) organizing family reunions, socializing with friends, enjoying music and dancing, SeaWaves activities, RV-ing, international travelling, Misericordia alumni, bridge and birthday clubs, along with parish duties including CWL, church bazaars, volunteering, giving of herself to others and fundraising. She will be missed. A Mass is scheduled for Thursday, November 12, at 2 PM. St. Joseph the Workers Church, 785 Burnside Rd west, Victoria.
