Helga KORN

KORN, Helga Our dearest Mom, Helga Korn, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2009 at the age of 71. Predeceased by her beloved husband Heinz in 2003 and her mother and stepfather. Mom married Heinz in 1962 and they enjoyed over 40 years together. Mom will be lovingly remembered by her children Gregory, Christopher and Denise and cherished by her grandchildren Tracey, Erica, Jackie, Tyler, Peter and Patrick. Mom leaves many extended family members, good neighbours and friends from around the world. Mom was endlessly devoted to her children and grandchildren. She loved working in her flower garden and cooking. Many heartfelt thanks to the staff and Hospice Volunteers of the Nanaimo Hospital Palliative Care Unit. God saw you getting tired, When a cure was not to be, So he closed his arms around you, And whispered Come to me." You suffered much in silence, Your spirit did not bend, You faced your pain with courage, Until the very end. You did not deserve what you went through, And so he gave you rest, God's garden must be beautiful, He only takes the best. And when we saw you sleeping, So peaceful and free from pain, We could not wish you back, To suffer that again.
