GRIFFIN, George Edward February 24, 1925 - November 2, 2009 George passed away peacefully at the age of 84. His generosity and sense of humour will be remembered by all who knew him. George is survived by his wife, Margery, sons, Tom (Betty), Dan (Tracy), Gary, Mick (Simone) and grandchildren Leanne, Matthew, Allison, Brett, Danielle and Katie. At George's request, there will be no memorial service. It was also George's wish that his body be donated to the U of A Division of Anatomy for the advancement of medical science. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Published in the Edmonton Journal on 11/8/2009
