McCORMICK, Donald Retired - Ottawa Fire Executive Chief Peacefully, at home with family by his side on Friday, November 6, 2009, at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Catherine Carmanico. Loving father of Donna McCormick (Keith Braund), James McCormick (Debby), Terry McCallum (Bruce) and Michael McCormick (Nathalie). Cherished grandfather of Erin, Dylan, Kyra and Cassidy. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents James and Addie (nee Steacy) McCormick and brothers Arthur, Ephraim and Robert McCormick. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 580 Eagleson Road, Kanata, Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Tuesday to Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1489 Shea Road (corner of Abbott St. E.), Stittsville for Mass of Christian Funeral at 10:30 a.m. Interment Capital Memorial Gardens.
