Wayne JONES

JONES, Wayne Wayne Jones at the age of 66 years old, after a courageous battle with cancer, succumbed to the fight and passed on peacefully in Elisabeth Bruyere on Sunday, November 8th, 2009. Wayne is predeceased by his loving wife Darlene Shields. He is the proud father of Kevin (Tracie), Melody and Trevor (Debbie), from his first marriage to Jean Jones. "Poppy" will always be remembered by his grandchildren Tyler, Dillon, Brendan, Cole and Ryan for his boisterous and fun-loving nature. Wayne will always be fondly remembered by those who knew him, for his love of music, life and laughter. He will be greatly missed by all. Family will receive friends on Wednesday November 11, 2009 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m., at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre (2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa). Funeral Service will be held on Thursday November 12, 2009 at 1 p.m., in the Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel. In memory of Wayne donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
