TANNER, E. Winnifred (nee Russell) 1925 - 2009 Gracefully, November 6th, 2009 at Elisabeth Bruyere Centre after a brief illness. Leaves a legacy of peace and generosity. Librarian, traveler, supportive friend to refugees, kindergarten Grandma and much more. Predeceased by her husband Richard Tanner. Fondly remembered by sisters Harriet and Barbara, children Lois (aka CharLee) of Calgary, Frances (Richard Taylor) and Robert of Ottawa, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memorial service Saturday, November 14th at Friends Meeting House, 91A Fourth Avenue, at 1:00 pm, followed by visitation.
