Doris LACHANCE

CUSHMAN, Doris (nee Lachance) Passed away at Windsor Regional Hospital on November 7, 2009 at the age of 68, surrounded by the love of her family. Doris was the loving wife and best friend of Jim Cushman for 44 wonderful years. She was an amazing mother, teacher, confidant and rock to Kelly Cushman and friend Jon Berbynuk, Lisa and Jamie Redmond, Renee and Bob Zimmerman. Greatly loved Meme of Josh, Jayde and Zack Dupuis; Nicholas, Alex and Grace Marie Redmond; Ben and Matthew Zimmerman. Loving daughter of the late Alfred and Grace Lachance. Adored sister of the late Harvey Bouffard, the late Dorothy Renaud, Alfred and Cecile Lachance, Elaine and the late Norman Gignac, Edward and Janet Lachance, the late Shirley Lachance, the late Donald Lachance, Cecile Lachance, Ronald and Judy Lachance and sister-in-law of John and Judy Cushman. Beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews. Adored friend to many. Doris will always be remembered as a caregiver of all people and will be forever missed. Visitation will be held at the Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh (519-735-2830) on Tuesday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. with Parish Prayers at 7:30 p.m. The funeral procession will leave the Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. to Ste. Anne Church for the Mass of the Resurrection at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Ste. Anne Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Ste. Anne Church Building Restoration Fund would be appreciated.
