EMERY, Robert Henry (Bob) Born December 31, 1949, passed away at the age of fifty-nine on November 9, 2009 after a short and courageous battle with cancer. Bob was born in Westbury, England and moved to Montreal in 1974, where he followed his career as a Quantity Surveyor and home renovations contractor. Those who knew him well will remember how meticulous and creative he was with his hands; not only a great builder, but a wonderful cook, and a talented musician. With the ability to make light of even the most difficult of situations, his sense of humour is something that will be deeply missed. He is survived by his partner Judy, sons Daniel and Benjamin, close friend Robert Scully, and his family in England - father Desmond, sister Mary, nephews, nieces, extended family and many friends who will miss him dearly and are thinking of him from near and far. He is predeceased by his mother Ethel and brother John. For all those who wish to pay their respects, a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, November 14 at St. Edmund's Parish, 105 Beaconsfield Blvd., in Montreal.
