LYNN, Rita Elaine (nee Grimes) Peacefully in hospital on November 3, 2009 in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late John Patrick Lynn. Loving mother of Wendy (Akinori), Joanne, Michael (Adele), and Kelly (Geoffrey). Adoring Granny to Patrick, Thompson, and Erin. Daughter of the late James Grimes and Rose Goody. Survived by her brothers Robert (Late Mabel) and Greg (Eileen) and her sisters Marguerite, Eleanor, and Maureen (Late Stan). Predeceased by her sister Betty (Guy). Elaine graduated from the Lorraine School of Nursing in 1947, and was a Registered Nurse in the nursery of the Ottawa General Hospital for many years. Special thanks to Lourdes, Liz, Krista and all the staff at Central Park Lodge, as well as the staff at the Civic Hospital. Friends may pay respects at Kelly Funeral Home, 2313 Carling Avenue (west of Carlingwood) Tuesday, November 17 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Wednesday, November 18 to Our Lady of Fatima Church for Mass of Christian Funeral at 11 a.m. Interment Pinecrest Cemetery.
