Catherine MacDonald April 05, 1909 - October 22, 2004 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Lower Sackville) MacDONALD, Catherine - 96, Halifax, formerly of New Glasgow, passed away peacefully in Maplestone Enhanced Care Facility, Fairview, on Friday, October 22, 2004. Born in New Glasgow, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Mary (MacDonald) Saunders. She is survived by son, John R. (Sharon) MacDonald, Lower Sackville; daughter, Josephine Harris, London, Ont.; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph R. MacDonald; brother, John Saunders. Arrangements are under the direction of Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Dr., Lower Sackville, where funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 27, at 10 a.m., followed by a graveside service at 1:30 p.m. in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, New Glasgow.
