WONG, John Wai Kong 85, passed away peacefully Saturday November 15th under the loving care of Anita at Villa Cathay Care in Vancouver Chinatown. John lived in Victoria for over 50 years and worked at the wood mill nearby-he enjoyed the natural setting of Oak Bay Harbour, as well. He moved to Vancouver in 2004 after his retirement and enjoyed seeing the ocean around Spanish Banks, and Trail 6. He is survived by daughter, Carol Wong, grandson, Sean Joe of Vancouver, and grandson, Courtney Wong of Sooke, BC.
