ARNOLD (Wyant), Dorothy Maxine - Peacefully at Bluewater Health Mitton Street Site, on Monday, November 02, 2009, Dorothy Maxine Arnold, age 85 of Sarnia, passed away. Dorothy was the beloved wife of the late Raymond Arnold, loving mother of Maxine and Kevin McBain of Sarnia, and loving Nana of Andrea McBain of London. Dear sister of Jacqueline Moore of Florida. Dorothy is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by granddaughter Kerra Marie McBain, sisters Madelon Weldon (Florida) and Leota Hornibrook (Sarnia), and brothers Lee Wyant (London), George Wyant (London) and Ross Wyant (Sarnia). Dorothy was active with the Sarnia VIP and loved her weekly card outings. She was also a volunteer for many years with the Sarnia chapter of the Canadian Breast Cancer Society. Dorothy resided at Vision Retirement Home for the past year, and was an active participant in their activities. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Breast Cancer Society, the Parkinson Society Canada or Vision Retirement Home. Many thanks to the nurses of Critical Care in the Cardiac Unit, to Dr. Shetty for his excellent care and counseling, and to the staff of Vision Retirement Home for always looking out for Dorothy.
