CARROLL, Stuart Acton - Passed away at the Helen Henderson Care Centre on Sunday October 18, 2009 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Minnie (nee Mills) for 59 years. Dear father of Diane Nuttall (Lloyd) of Gananoque and Wanda Parkes (Charles) of Kingston. Grandpa of Adam Nuttall, Kwesi, Adrian, Sheldon, Yonita, and Tyrone Parkes. Remembered by his one nephew Alan Carroll and family of Toronto. Predeceased by his parents Hanlon and Pearl, his 2 sisters Iris and Betty, and his 1 brother Reg. Stuart was born and raised on the family farm on Florida Road, Kingston Township. He was a dairy farmer for most of his life, changing to beef farming when he started selling International Stock Food. His second career as a salesman allowed him to travel the countryside and converse with his farm friends. He often took his grandchildren with him on his excursions. Farm life and memories remained an integral part of his life even after the move from the farm at age 84. He was a member of the Oddfellows Lodge for over 65 years. The funeral was held at the PAUL PAYNE FUNERAL HOME on October 21, 2009 with Rev. Stephen Ambury officiating. Pallbearers were his six grandchildren Adam Nuttall, Kwesi, Adrian, Sheldon, Yonita, and Tyrone Parkes, and his great niece Jennifer Carroll. Internment at Wilton Cemetery. 11724049
