MOORE, Barbara Grace - Adjunct Lecturer, Faculty of Education at Queen's University Peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family, on Friday, November 6, 2009. Barbara (nee Duckett), age 70, beloved wife of Eric Moore, for 47 years. Dearly loved mother of Kathy Moore (Gary Osborne) of Kingston, Sarah Butler (Roy) of London and Alison Moore of Cambridge. Affectionately known as “Grandma“ and “Nana“ to her adoring grandchildren, Tyler, Cole, Jarryd and Kenzie Osborne; Emma, Megan and Erica Butler; Rachel and Jessica Moore, as well as Moses. Survived by her sisters Joan Moore (Andrew) and Beryl Knight (Tony), both of England. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. The family extends sincere gratitude to Dr. Anna Tomiak and the caring staff at the Cancer Centre for their compassion and support. In accordance with Barbara's wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard, on Monday evening between the hours of 7 and 9 pm. Memorial service in the chapel on Tuesday, November 10 at 12:30 pm, with Reverend Brian Yealland officiating. As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to University Hospitals Kingston Foundation (Cancer Centre of Southeastern Ontario), in Mrs. Moore's memory. 1172
