BERUBE, Ross - (April 13, 1929 - November 3, 2009) - On Tuesday, November 3, 2009 Ross died peacefully in his sleep after a brief illness at the age of 80. Loving husband of 55 years of June (Strand). Best father ever of children Dan Berube & his wife Sandi, Patricia Caroline Berube, Julie Berube & her partner Patrick Packer, Shelly Mallon & her husband John Mallon, David Berube & his wife Joanne and youngest son Ronald Berube. Loving grandfather of Derek and Launa Kindret, Jack and Sadie Mallon, Benjamin and Charlotte Berube. Brother of Antoinette Conroy & her husband Gordon and Jacqueline and the late Ed McMenamin. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and longtime friends and neighbours of the Beach Lane Community. Predeceased by his parents Adelard & Henedine Berube. He will be sorely missed by all. Ross was a longtime employee of Imperial Oil retiring in 1986. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Friday from 10 -11 a.m. A Celebration of Ross's life will be held in the McKenzie & Blundy Chapel immediately following at 11 a.m. and will be officiated by Deacon David Robertson. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation, 774 London Rd., Sarnia, N7T 4Y1. Messages of condolence & memories may be left at www.mckenzieblundy.com A tree will be planted in memory of Ross Berube in the McKenzie & Blundy Memorial Forest.
