James Jules HAYES

HAYES, James Jules - Peacefully, at Briargate Nursing Home, with his wife at his side, on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at 78 years of age, after a lengthy struggle with Alzheimer's Disease. Jules is survived by his beloved wife Sylvia (nee Stobee), children Barbara (Shane) Lakins, Bill Hayes, and Beverly (Jacob) Affleck. Dear Brother of Henry Hayes; Joyce (Curtis) Syvret; Mary (John) Babler; Hilda (Ervin) Major; Dorcas (Bill) Howie; and Ann (John) Hall. Predeceased by brothers Carl, John and Alexander Hayes and sister Jennie Marion. A long-time resident of Napanee, Jules was known by many in his sales position at Canadian Tire. The family thanks the staff at Briargate for their compassionate care and support. The family will receive friends at the WANNAMAKER-TIERNEY FUNERAL HOME, 123 Dundas Street West Napanee (613-354-3341) on Friday, Nov. 13 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Saturday, Nov. 14 at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Bayview Cemetery in Hope, Quebec at a later date.
