Donat Raymond LALONDE

LALONDE, Donat Raymond (Doc) Lalonde - Of Sarnia and formerly of Wallaceburg passed away peacefully at the Vision Nursing Home in Sarnia on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 in his 90th year. The son of the late Moise & Rosinna (Payette) Lalonde, Donat served in the European Theatre in World War II, was a Wallaceburg Mailman for 28 years and member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 18 and First Baptist Church. Beloved husband of 67 years to Ruth (Asselstine). Loving father & father-in-law of Mike & Carolyn Lalonde of Sarnia and Dick & Patricia of Sarnia. Dear grandfather of Lisa & Joe, Matt, Steven & Nicole, Scott & Lynette, Rick, Shaealynne & Tony, Kyle and great grandfather of Madison, Chloe, Aubrey, Zachary, Luke, Breanna, Brayden and Leah. Brother of Dora Turner (Donat's twin sister) and the late Emile, Emillene, Simonne, Cecile, Loretta, Gus and Roger. Friends may call at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street (at Elgin) in Wallaceburg from 7-9 PM on Thursday. The funeral service will be conducted by Rev.
