TAYLOR, William L. (Bill) - Peacefully at LHSC-University Hospital, surrounded by his family on Wednesday, November 11, 2009, Bill Taylor of London in his 85th year. Bill served 38 years in the Canadian Armed Forces at Wolseley Barracks and 27 C.O.D. He worked at University Hospital for 7 years in the Purchasing Department. Beloved husband and best friend of Jean Taylor for 62 years. Loving father of Richard William Taylor and his wife Dawn, Terry Lynn Cay and her husband Eric and Patricia Ann Clark and her husband Jeff. Dear grandpa to Mathew, Nicole, Clarke, Whitney, Steven, Erin, Martha (Kris) and Sarah (Chris). Great-grandpa to Mia, Emily, Ryan and Talia. Bill is survived by seven sisters and one brother. Predeceased by his parents and two of his sisters. Bill will be greatly missed by all of his family and many friends. A private family service was held at Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel, London. Interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions in Bill's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the London Health Sciences Foundation - University Hospital.
